Kristen and I go back some years with the connection of her awesome family and my friends! Kristen is bubbly, super nice, down to earth and super cute as Justin compliments her so well by being chill, go with the flow and respectful. LOVED getting to know these two even more just by photographing their engagement session! 🙂 We had a BLAST! I will admit though, I have been battling what I found out is bronchitis for now going on 2 weeks … with winter approaching fast, there was basically no wiggle room for rescheduling, so we went for it and I appreciate them up and down for being so upbeat and fun spirited to make this session 110% worth it! 🙂
Justin & Kristen’s Love Story
Justin and I have so much in common. We are two pees in a pod. I am quite the country girl and spend a lot of my time being a cowgirl. We both love trucks and that is what caused use to first meet. Justin and I met at Summerduck Raceway. Typically guys make the first move, but I guess you can say I made the first, and probably the second. My friend and I were checking out all the trucks and in the lineup I spotted a good looking blue two toned Ford F250. I found the driver to be even more attractive than the truck. My friend already knew Justin and took me over to introduce me. Being a bit of a blonde I managed to lean the back of my legs against his tires right after he had raced. THEY WERE HOT! I was so embarrassed because Justin laughed a bit. He must have thought I was cute because he offered to let me drive his truck after I made a fool of myself. We went to leave and he kept hinting to me that he wanted to hang out, but I guess he didn’t realize he didn’t have my number. Well guess who had to ask for whose number? Yay, there is move number two for me!! From that night on I was in love. On February 20th, 2010 Justin decided to pop the question. He got a lot trigger happy and popped the question before bed that night. Come to find out he had made some pretty good plans to make it special, but just couldn’t wait any longer. I’m sure some day our kids will laugh at it, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. The tears in his eyes when he asked me and the tears in mine made it absolutely perfect no matter where we were. I thank god for the man he brought into my life and look forward to the day we say “I do”!! MAY 30th, 2014!
