Meet April! One of my dear college friends from JMU and the MRDs! We met in our flute/piccolo section back in 2007 and have stayed connected ever since! 🙂 After catching up at her session, it was a true testament as how fast time flies as they have now been married for 3 years! Now, they are introducing a little boy next month, Carter! Ohhhh I’m EXCITED for them! Nick is in the Navy, so protection is his instinct and April definitely has the motherly nature spirit about her as she was one of the section leaders for my piccolo section! No doubt they will be AMAZING parents! 🙂
We met Sunday morning right at sunrise with it only being a little less than 19 degrees outside! Yes, you heard right! When we drove from one place to another, I tried warming up my feet and they were honestly in pain because of drastically changing the temperature from frozen to warm. April, goodness, she was an absolute pleasure photographing! She did not hesitate to take off her coat for a set! I feel like I was aching just from thinking how cold she was … but she reassured me that Carter was keeping her warm. 🙂 Haha! I am so honored to have captured this beautiful and EXCITING time for her and Nick! What a wonderful way to end my vacation time! 🙂
Thank you April, Nick, Chris and Josh for bearing through the coldest day yet!!! You all made it SO enjoyable! Enjoy the preview of the session! Looking forward to meeting Carter in the near future! xoxo
