As we all know, the third time is a charm! So true … we have rescheduled their engagement session three different times due to the weather. But it was SO worth it! Plus, I felt eager and excited going into this session since it was the first one of the year! That is exactly what I need going into any session! Eagerness to jump in with new ideas! We met downtown Alexandria for the first time and immediately, I felt a connection between these two! And as you will see throughout this post, they cannot help but to smile and laugh … that is true happiness. 🙂

late_august Josh and Amanda’s Love Story:

Josh and I met at Radford University in 2004 through mutual friends. We hung out a few times but according to Josh, I never came around enough! Josh graduated in ’07 and we kept in touch through Facebook and texting for the next year and a half. In November ’09 Josh was having people over to celebrate his new house and his birthday! He invited me and I sent my usual “maybe, I’ll have to check my work schedule!” text. I was convinced by my mom to go, so I took off work, picked up one of my girls to go with me and we went to celebrate! We had a great time 🙂 The next day was Josh’s actual birthday, we decided to meet at Fudruckers and went on our first ‘date’. After that day we were long distance but totally inseparable. We dated long distance for almost a year then I made the big move to Northern Virginia and the rest is history! We can’t wait for April 12th! PS: I can’t wait to marry him 🙂

Thank you Josh and Amanda for all of the rescheduling … I would say it was worth it. 😉 I wish you both the best of luck as you travel to Hawaii in a few months to get hitched!!! Enjoy the preview! xoxo
