Kenny & Allison | Downtown Warrenton + Farm Engagement Photographer

I love traveling, but I also love photographing at my roots in downtown Warrenton and my family farm! These two live in Chicago, but came “home” for a little bit for wedding festivities (food tasting, etc.)! Such a fun weekend for sure! And they surprised me with Chicago popcorn! Didn’t know that Chicago was also known for popcorn but oooooohhhhhhh I believe it now! Friday night after their session, came home to snuggle up on the couch to relax the night before Ian & Jessi’s wedding and had some of this amazing cheesy/carmel popcorn! Amazing! I’ll remember to get some of this when I come to visit Chicago in the near future! 🙂 Thanks Kenny & Allison for the sweet surprise!!!

These two are so sweet as you can already tell! Allison cannot help but to smile around Kenny and it’s absolutely adorable! Photographing their love was a treasure and I can only imagine what their wedding day is going to be like!! 🙂

Kenny & Allison’s Love Story

Allison and I knew each other for many years through mutual friends of ours, but it wasn’t until Thanksgiving of 2008 when we truly hit it off. We began dating over the holidays when Allison was home from school and have been together ever since.

Our engagement was something that I had planned for a few months prior to it happening. I knew from the start that it would involve Disney in some fashion, and once I contacted Disney World about planning a proposal they were more than helpful! Allison and I walked into Cinderella’s Castle for what she thought was an impromptu lunch. I was so nervous that I barely ate any of the awesome food and Allison kept asking me what was wrong. Finally they brought the dessert out and once the cover was lifted on the tray the ring was revealed mounted in a glass slipper with the date and “happily ever after” engraved on it. We had sparkling “champagne” in special flutes and enjoyed a great dessert. Allison was definitely surprised! The rest of our time at Disney World we ate at some of the nicest restaurants on property and enjoyed a great view from our hotel room. Definitely a week to remember!

Of course we wanted to sneak in with the baby calves for a few shots! Ohhhh and it was hilarious to watch the calves get SO excited for us to play with them!
