I met Renualdo through my boyfriend, Kyle, one of the first nights introduced to his family. Renualdo was naturally apart of the family with his hilarious sense of humor! When Renualdo started talking about Keli, there was something different about him. It was obvious that he has fallen for this girl and I was SO excited to meet her for the first time last summer! Keli is such a sweet girl and so down to earth! And these two definitely make a great match. 🙂 I love her adventurous side, which is why Sky Meadows was ideal for this session. A little hiking around was the perfect touch to the session. 😉

We may have met on probably the hottest day of the summer yet … but I will say that these two stuck it out through the sweat like no ones business! In the meantime, I was looking like a crazy photographer with my hair frizzing out of control! Lol! I’m going to need to figure out cute hairdos during this heat. 😉

Renualdo & Keli’s Love Story

I applied to the Griffin Tavern in the fall of 2011. He was working in the kitchen at the time when I walked in for my interview. An insider said to me later on that I caught his eye right away. I received the job that day and had no idea what to expect. After working there for a couple months it was known to everyone that he had a crush on me and was not giving up on it. Of course it was becoming more and more clear to me, but I was not interested in him. It actually took me about a year and a half to finally say yes to be his girlfriend. He became a real man while waiting, so I have no regret making him wait.

We usually went out a couple times a month for date night. Either dinner or movie, depending on what we felt like. Renualdo mentioned that we have not eaten at the restaurant I work at for a while and asked if we could go there again. I made reservations for May 7, 2014. We got the good seat in the house, which is a high top in the window. We had an excellent dinner, minus the time he took away my ketchup, he does not approve of me eating ketchup with my steak. Dessert came around and he ordered another drink for himself, he was having more than he usually does during a meal, but I did not really notice at the time. Also he was using the bathroom more often, which I later found out he was calling his best friend to calm him down. Before leaving I went back into the kitchen to thank everyone for our loving meal. I went back to the table and we were collecting our things before heading out the door, when Renualdo bent down to fix his shoe, next he looked up at me and pulled his hand up which was holding the ring. I could not believe he was actually doing it that night. He said “Keli I Love You:.” He said some other stuff but I was too much in shock and also some of the girls were screaming behind me. Then he asked me if I would marry him and I said Yes!

Thank you Renualdo and Keli for meeting with me on one HOT day last week! I would say it was worth it because the lighting could not have been more perfect for these photos! 🙂 Excited to FINALLY have a sunny day! I wish you two the absolute best during this exciting time and I’m looking forward to joining in on the party for your wedding next May! Wohoo!
