Sewing Project

Stephanie Messick Photography Sewing Projects

If you have been following me for a while, I love to take time to sew during my slow season. Although I’m in my “slow season”, I don’t really feel like it. I know I need to PURPOSEFULLY slow down but I honestly have a hard time doing that when I love what I do! I sat down and dreamt of a list I would only dream of completing this year and so far it is becoming a reality. I can absolutely do this and make this 2015 year a mile marker for my business! πŸ™‚ Next week though, I would love to slow down a little bit and enjoy this time before May comes because Lord knows that it’s going to be a crazy ride! That’s where a sewing project would come in handy. Sewing takes a lot of patience, but I really enjoy the process from selecting fun fabrics to seeing the end result and actually wearing it.

You’ve seen me put together a sequin festive long skirt, cute tulle skirt, Christmas pillows, dog pillows for donating, a cute clutch (a longggg time ago along with my apron) and much more!

Today, I would love to hear your thoughts! What sewing project should I take on next?! The fun part is that I get to go to a fabric store and look for the perfect fun fabric for this!

I say either a peplum top or a bow tie! πŸ™‚ You’d look great in a peplum top, and every man looks handsome in a bowtie!

  4. […] provide wine! Haha! Once that is done, I will be able to take a step back and enjoy some fun sewing projects I have been wanting to take care of for months. πŸ™‚ Definitely need to soak in these last couple […]
