I hope everyone had a wonderful and warm weekend! This weather has given me the spring blues, but I have to say that I enjoyed photographing a wedding in the snow. 🙂 Now that my next wedding isn’t until April, I have a bit of time to sit down and crank out the remainder of my winter to do list. It is looking more and more realistic as I cross the list off! 🙂  I had about 30 projects/tasks I wanted to complete before the wedding season kicked in full throttle and so far I have already crossed off more than 20! That’s on average 10 projects/tasks a month since I started this list the beginning of this year, so it looks like I’m on track. 🙂 I didn’t include personal projects on this list so I am hoping that I will be able to sit down and work on some fun sewing projects soon. Last night, I practiced calligraphy with my new book, Modern Calligraphy by Molly Thorpe! My mom took a calligraphy course back in college so fortunately she had the equipment for me to play with. Definitely a fun challenge! If you are wanting to learn calligraphy, I highly recommend this book!
There’s something to say about pressure. Naturally, I put stress on myself for this upcoming wedding because Kristin works with weddings quite often and does fabulous work! I have to say though that as an artist it is important to feel a little bit of pressure before every wedding so you have a driving force to do your absolute best. I’ll be diving a little more about this when I feature their beautiful day at Stevenson Ridge this week! Cannot wait! For now, I have these sneak peeks until I can share more. 🙂
Don’t you love that they have snow on the ground?! A true winter wedding!
Happy Monday!!!
