It seems like weekday weddings are becoming more and more popular as I grow in the industry. Dustin and Brooke had a lovely Wednesday celebration with their closest family and friends last week and I am incredibly honored to have documented these special memories for them. I was a little nervous when I was driving up to Historic Rosemont Manor on their wedding day driving through heavy rain. I prayed every mile of the way for at least just one hour of clear skies for their outdoor ceremony!!! In fact, I think every wedding I had this spring so far (with the exception of a few) has had a chance for rain/thunderstorms. The great thing is that everything has worked out for every one of those weddings … and I prayed HARD for each and every one of them. 🙂 God listened to all of our prayers, especially for Dustin and Brooke’s wedding day last week. Not only did they have no rain, but the sun came out for their ceremony! Talk about a blessing.
Dustin and Brooke’s enchanted garden wedding was truly enchanting! They had meaningful details and surprises throughout the day that really made this wedding personalized and totally them. Not to mention … THE KITTEN! Seriously Dustin?! 🙂 Brooke has always wanted a kitten and finally she has her own fluff ball that will melt your heart when you see a photo of him. <3 <3 <3 I want to meet the little one already! It’s obvious how happy these two are together and I have nothing but positive thoughts about their marriage! By the way, do you remember Dustin’s proposal to Brooke (check out their video HERE)?! These two were definitely meant to be and I am so thrilled to be sharing their wedding day with you all today!
Thank you Dustin and Brooke for an incredible time Wednesday!!! I know God has amazing plans for the two of you and cannot wait to see where your marriage takes you! Love you both! xoxo! CONGRATS!!!
Dustin’s gift made this one HAPPY and shocked bride! Look how fluffy he is!!!! Dustin would have had the kitten there at Rosemont but it was too tiny to be taken away from its mamma. My heart is melting right now… AH!
Love her floral crown!
The girls coming in to see her all dressed up. 🙂
A little father/daughter moment. SO sweet!!!
Brooke, you are one sweet and beautiful bride!!!
Brooke’s gift to Dustin … a handwritten journal Brooke has been writing to her future husband since she was in 6th/7th grade!!!
This was a CUTE moment! The ring bearer walked down the aisle tip toeing around the flower petals! Hahaha!
And no … fortunately, that is not a real owl on the portico! I would be bolting out of the area if that was true… Hahaha! Rosemont Manor is so pretty!!!
Brooke’s sister had wrote a song to sing during communion. How sweet!!!
YAY!!!!!
This is so sweet!
Gorgeous girls!
<3 !!! They love them! Hahah!
So cute!
This little ring was a promise ring Dustin gave her a long time ago. 🙂 So sweet!
I’ll admit this was my first time ever hearing of the game, “Can Jam”! Haha! I really thought there was a station to can jam … 😉
Surprise! Brooke added a tulle skirt on top of her dress for a little change up. 🙂 Cute idea!!
Classic Coca-Cola! Nice!
Dustin and Brooke surprised Brooke’s parents with their own first dance since they never had one at their wedding. SO sweet! What’s even better? Dustin recorded a song he sang just for their dance. How special. :)))
We snuck out for a few minutes of portraits. 🙂
LOVEE!!!!
The shoe game! SO much fun!
They were gentle, I promise. 🙂
YAY!
