Where do I even begin? This past Saturday was a whirlwind of a day but all of the planning was WORTH IT! Lists consumed my life the last couple of weeks leading up to the Runaway Brides 5k Fun Run … It was an organizers dream. 😉 Lol! Saturday like a wedding day! So much work is poured into one day and when there is a threat of rain, you just have to pray it works out! Fortunately, it did! 🙂 I was loading my car the morning of in the rain just hoping to see the rain drizzle away. By the time I arrived at Marriott Ranch, the rain stopped! WHEW! Good thing the run was held at 9 a.m.!!! After setting up the 5k course and the vendor show, thanks to the Girls at Main Street (!!!!!), it was time to release the girls at the starting line! As I stood at the pavilion with all of the vendors involved, I was excited to see everything come together! The pavilion at Marriott Ranch was the PERFECT backdrop to this event! Not only did it have incredible and unique views that are typically not used for a 5k run, but the pavilion had a beautiful space for the vendor show. The fire place was lite, lights hanged from the ceiling, the aroma of delicious breakfast provided by Marriott Ranch filled the room, vendors were all set up with smiles on their faces … It came together beautifully!
So thankful for these attendees who signed up! Their money went straight to two beautiful charities in the wedding industry, St. Anthony’s Bridal and Forever Angels of Virginia. I’m looking forward to dreaming even bigger plans for next year! My head is bursting with ideas!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Thank you to everyone involved!!!! From the vendors to the volunteers to the attendees to the photographers … EVERYONE! You made this happen and I cannot thank you enough!!! XOXO!!!!
2017 will be even bigger and better and I cannot WAIT to spend this year planning!!!! If you are interested in being a part of this event next spring, email me at info@stephaniemessick.com.
