I grew up with Isabella a part of my family’s life. From King Dominion to spending the afternoon on her family’s boat while sunny fish sucked on our toes to playing in our backyards, we have so many memories together! My sister and her met back in Pre-K (I want to say?) so they have been best friends for basically forever! It has been fun watching Isabella grow up into the beautiful, young woman she is today and we could not be more thrilled that she found the love of her life, Davey!!! They are so sweet together! It’s a tender and playful love as you will see below! I adore their smiles!!! 🙂
We met while these flowers were in peak bloom and decided to play dress up with a red tulle skirt! Absolutely LOVE the results!!! How fun is this?! I thought it was comical because right before the session she was worried that she wasn’t dressing her age with her original outfit. I thought to myself that I might have something in my closet that could work for this! I found my tulle skirt I made a couple years ago and immediately fell in love with the idea! Isabella totally rocked it! With the lighting, photographing these two was a dream! <3 My family and I could not be happier for Davey and Isabella! A HUGE CONGRATS!!!!
DAVEY & ISABELLA’S LOVE STORY
How Davey and Isabella Met
from Isabella’s point of view…
Davey and I initially met at his friends house (but did not start speaking until later). After about a month of talking, we quickly became good friends… almost like we had known eachother our entire lives. But it felt like it was taking forever for him to ask me out on a date! So one night after dinner with friends, we were watching a show and a commercial for ‘Mockingjay’ came on. I told him that I wanted to see this movie and invited myself when he said he had (conviently, wink, wink) planned to see the movie later on that week… by himself! After he rejected this idea (maybe because I had beat him to the punch lol), he finally worked up the courage and took me to not only see the movie, but to Bonefish Grill, where he didn’t even eat his meal because he was so nervous. How cute is he?! So I helped him chow down 😉 He later recreated the same meal at home the night he proposed.
How Davey Proposed to Isabella
from Davey’s point of view…
My proposal to Isabella turned out to be a rather entertaining affair. First I got the ring and went through the proper channels of getting the blessing of both sets of parents. On the big day I made one of Isabella’s favorite meals, and slipped the ring into her glass of reisling. I was so nervous, and kept eyeing it, wondering when she would finally notice. But Isabella was more into telling me about her day, so i just started chugging glass after glass. Finally when i was at the bottom of the bottle she asked if i was going to save her any wine, to which i said she hadnt even touched hers yet! And that is when she finally saw it, i dropped to a knee and went through a super romantic proposal about her being the love of my life and my best friend. I was extatic that she said yes but then i guess in the excitement, she didnt hear my speech because the next thing to come out of her mouth was, “um i kind of missed what you said, can you do it again?!?” We had a great laugh about it, which is perfect because we always joke with one another about everything. All in all the proposal went great, and i cannot wait to spend my life with this amazing woman!
I just love these two and I’m incredibly honored to be there by their side this fall capturing their moments. <3 CONGRATS Davey and Isabella! Enjoy some of my many favorites!!! xoxo!
CONGRATS!!!!! XOXO!
