Can I just start off by saying that when I look through these photos, instantly I have the feeling of tropical weather. Maybe it’s their tan mixed with beautiful sunshine along with the lush greenery and white clothing … It was definitely a session to kick off the start of beautiful weather (finally!)! This session just makes me smile! 🙂
We met at the gorgeous Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, Virginia last Friday for what it seemed like the first day of sunshine! Traffic may have been an obstacle but we made the most of the drive out there. 🙂 I typically don’t photograph this early in the day before sunset, but with Meadowlark’s hours we had to follow respectfully. We were able to work around any harsh light scenarios and I love the results!!! They were so go with the flow that it made it easy to have fun and document their little sweet moments. Ohhhh I cannot wait for Kevin and Catherine’s wedding! It’s going to be magical with some incredible views!
I have known Catherine for what it seems like forever! Well, actually Kevin beats me as they have been basically dating since they were kids. CRAZY! I believe Catherine told me 13 years??!?! This was definitely an anticipated engagement, I would say. 🙂 Catherine and I swam together when we were kids and attended high school together. Although in different grades, we have ran into each other mostly thanks to friends getting married! Now it’s their turn!!! I’m incredibly honored to document this model status couple. 😉
