I’m keeping this blog post short and sweet … but not too sweet 😉 … since I’m off to the dentist in 45 minutes! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! Seems like the weeks are FLYING by, especially with fall coming. Cannot WAIT for pumpkin everything! 🙂 I realize that because I only have one day off a week (Sundays), things build up and it turns into another busy day. Whoops! It’s always fun (unless it’s a chore kind of day), but when I was listening to the radio on Friday the radio host was stressing that everyone needs to have a day of Sabbath (even from the chores). That’s hard, especially when I’m constantly on the run. I should learn to practice this. 🙂
After church yesterday, I spent the day shopping with my mom, sister and friend. If you didn’t know, another passion of mine is decorating (since middle school), so I helped my friend design/decorate her entire studio apartment. Let’s just say that there was NO privacy factor. From the door, you could see her and her fiancé’s bed. I knew I needed to help her out! First step, creating an inspiration board. 🙂 This was easy because she loves my decorating style so I was able to design her home the way I would want to decorate my own. 🙂 I drew out plans for each room and created shopping lists where to find each of the items. From there, she told me her budget and we got as much as her money allowed for our shopping day yesterday. I would say it was a huge success! We still have more to check off, but I’m sure her home will officially feel like home by Christmas time! Cannot WAIT to share before/after photos! A HUGE CONGRATS to my next door neighbors, Jon and Hope!!!! WOHOO! They are finally married! Cannot wait to share more from their gorgeous day on the blog this week!!! 🙂
