I have photographed Garrett and his family for years, so it was an honor to photograph this milestone in Garrett’s life. I appreciate their enthusiasm for photos and their support! 🙂 It’s funny because when Garrett’s mom suggested EC Lawrence Park, I didn’t realize that I’ve photographed at that park before. In fact, it was one of my first photo shoots before going full-time over four years ago! It was a great location for Garrett’s senior portraits! Even for mid-November, we had beautiful fall colors still lingering in the trees which surprised me for this time of the year.
When Garrett arrived at EC Lawrence Park, I told him my goal was to make the session fun and adventurous. More importantly, I didn’t want to bore him or have him dread the fact that he was having his photos taken. Fortunately, he was up for any challenge I threw his way. Even climbing on a log across the river. Haha! It’s good for senior guys to be occupied when there are props or adventures involved. So when Garrett’s mom told me they were going to bring their dog, Apollo, I was excited to photograph them together. Although, I think Apollo was just as excited! 😉 So cute!!
Thank you, Garrett, for a great time together! I know you have a bright future ahead no matter where life takes you! Enjoy your last year of high school and congrats!
