Happy Monday! I hope coffee/tea is keeping you awake this morning … Or maybe this cold weather is! I’m ready for the warm weather to come back and stay. 🙂 Anyone else getting a little antsy hibernating inside because of the cold temps? I’m craving to get out and explore/adventure! Skiing isn’t even an option around the area because the slopes are shut down. I love all seasons of the year, but I’m personally not a fan of the cold unless there’s snow. I know I’m not the only one! 🙂 There’s something so relaxing about snowfall at night and waking up to fresh snow on the ground! Honestly, it was probably WAY more exciting when I was in school. 😉

If anyone is looking for a great, quality hair salon in the NOVA area, I HIGHLY suggest checking out Tranquility Salon and Spa! I went there for the first time last week and had the BEST experience! I love the owner’s heart behind the business and the professionalism of the team! Not to mention, the salon is so relaxing!! 🙂 I already plan to get a massage (my first one in over TEN years!!!) next month! Thanks, Brittney and Jason, for the sweet and thoughtful gift!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 Oh, and while you’re visiting Haymarket for your hair appointment, you have to travel downstairs to Cupcake Heaven and Cafe! I met with some friends at Georgetown Cupcakes and Cupcake Heaven and had the chance to compare/contrast. As you know, there is no such thing as a bad cupcake, but I have to lean my vote towards … CUPCAKE HEAVEN! If you love raspberry, you will love their lemon raspberry! YUM!

With spring coming in fast and furious, I cannot help but think that this “slow season” is almost nonexistent! Although, I’m so thankful for the intentional time I have been able to spend with family and friends. As you know, this year on my resolution list, I plan to spend intentional time with a friend/family member at least once a week. So far, so good! I have been enjoying quality time and hope to continue this routine when the wedding season picks up!

To wrap up this weekend post, has anyone seen the movie, Marley and Me?! I don’t know what it is, but I feel like I’m getting more sensitive as I age. Not the most flattering moment, but I found myself BAWLING at the end of the movie. My heart strings get pulled every … TIME! Anyone else?!
