When Erik, Danielle and I were brainstorming ideas for their maternity session, my parent’s farm came up as an ideal location because of the wildflowers and open fields. 🙂 I’m thankful the flowers held out a little longer than expected because another plant started to invade due to the spring rain. Thank the Lord! Although we were a little hesitant to photograph last Friday because rain clouds were popping up all around us throughout the day, fortunately for us, we had sunshine!!
They have only been in Virginia for a few years, thanks to JMU! 🙂 *Go Dukes!* They came from California, which I thought was funny because I know so many who fled to CA from VA because they wanted a change. Erik and Danielle were impressed with what JMU had to offer in their grad program, so I’m glad it brought them here!!
They are expecting baby Connor in July, and this session was a perfect way to celebrate the occasion! My sweet and adorable couple, Joel and Jessica, connected me with Erik and Danielle, and I’m so grateful!!! This means I get to see all four … actually, FIVE … of them this fall for Joel and Jess’s wedding! So excited to meet Connor then!! 🙂
