Paul & Leah | The Mill at Fine Creek, Virginia Wedding Photographer

I knew there was something special about Paul and Leah from the moment I met them! Some couples immediately stick out who are going to last forever. They truly have found the one whom their soul loves. Their love is selfless and fun! I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know these two because they are so down to earth and made our time together so relaxed. 🙂 This was especially appreciated the day of their wedding because it was SO hot outside!!! Patience was key, and they made it work! 🙂

For some reason, their wedding flew by SO fast!!! Maybe we just had that much fun?! Of course!! Although, I almost planted my face to the ground in front of basically the entire crowd… LOL! If you ever want genuine smiles during family photos, apparently you have to almost die. Haha! I’m laughing as I type this because it was a ridiculous scene that could have been bad. I climbed on a folding chair, and as I stood up, the chair started to fold into itself with my feet slipping in between the seat and the back. Somehow, I managed to hop over the back of the chair … Holy moly, scary. I’m glad everyone got a good laugh out of it. 😉 What they didn’t know was they hired a clown when they signed their contract with me. Ha! This wedding was full of laughter from start to finish (obviously), especially during the reception! I’m not really sure what was going on with the tie fight, but I know I was laughing behind my camera! Also, I didn’t realize how TALENTED Leah was!!! She gathered her A capella group together to sing a few songs during the reception. Loved seeing her in her element, surrounded by great friends! So many fun-filled memories to cherish forever. <3 I’m so incredibly honored to have been by their side to document these photos!!
