Drew & Kelsey | Murray Hill, Virginia Wedding Photographer

After many prayers, the anticipated rain was nonexistent for the day! What a blessing!!! Drew and Kelsey had a beautiful outdoor ceremony on Saturday at Murray Hill in Leesburg, where they invited special family and friends to gather and help celebrate the occasion. Saturday was every bit of joyful as I could ever imagine! <3 When I was going through the photos this morning, I could not help but crack a smile seeing the love documented. In the short amount of time I have had the opportunity to get to know Drew and Kelsey, it was evident how selfless these two are, not just towards one another but to everyone they cross paths. For example, in the midst of portraits following the ceremony, Drew noticed there weren’t a lot of helpers picking up chairs from the ceremony site. He walked over and gathered some chairs to load into the truck. I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed a groom do that before, but that speaks volume to who Drew and Kelsey are. Definitely a couple worth admiring!! <3 Plus, Drew’s speech during the reception raving about how much he adores and loves Kelsey made my heart MELT. This couple … goodness!!!! I cannot get enough of them!

The day came together beautifully, thanks to Kelsey’s vision! The drapery, cafe lights, an abundance of garland, cute signage and the table layout created a romantic atmosphere! 🙂 One cute and unique idea Kelsey told me about during our final meeting regarded the table Drew and Kelsey had at their reception. The rental company made a table for them to take home after the wedding was done, so that table was the first of many meals. What a SWEET idea! You’ll see below where they even made a little plaque with their wedding date, names and location. So many little details I was excited to photograph on Saturday, but photographing Drew and Kelsey was definitely the highlight! They exude happiness, which was hard not to overdo the shutter count that day! 😉 Haha!
