The McGuinness Family | Manassas Battlefields, Virginia Portrait Photographer I met the McGuinness family last week to document this special time of their lives. Little Jackson just turned one (June babies unite!), and this was their first photos as a family. What an honor for them to reach out to me regarding this occasion and what a great way to celebrate Jackson’s first Birthday! 🙂

I was so impressed with the McGuinness family! Jackson was such a trooper! It’s difficult for a one-year-old to stay focused and happy for 1.5 hours, but he did it!! And their adorable pup, Kona (love the name!!), was also great company. At one point, though, Kona tried taking Jackson for a ride in the stroller. Lol! Moments like that make every session unique, unforgettable and fun!

Thank you, McGuinness family, for coming out to Manassas and making your portraits fun and beautiful! Happy Birthday, Jackson!!!! Enjoy some of my favorites from our time together!
