You must remember James and Michelle from last week’s Old Town Alexandria engagement session. 🙂 James and Michelle are officially MARRIED!!! The day started just around the corner from the Winery at Bull Run, where they relaxed and enjoyed time with friends while prepping for the celebration. It’s not very often I see the groom hanging out with the bride before the ceremony, but there was something so sweet seeing James and Michelle enjoying that time together. 🙂 While Michelle was waiting for her hair to set, one of her bridesmaids surprised her with video messages from friends overseas. So sweet and thoughtful!! James headed out to the venue to greet his family and friends while Michelle finished getting ready and once she was dressed and ready to go, we were all in awe over her dress and hair!!! We knew that James was going to fall in love all over again!

James was taken aback when he saw Michelle! Of course, he was completely smitten the entire day, and it was evident how much he adores her. 🙂 Same goes for Michelle! Even though she admitted when they first started seeing each other, she wasn’t sure if she wanted to continue seeing him, considering the distance and their talks up to that point. But Michelle was SO happy he changed her mind because that day she intended to fly back to Washington a year ago, he wanted to see her one last time and that’s when he told her how crazy he was about her. *This is straight from a movie, right?!* From that conversation, she found the man she wanted to marry and was enthralled by him. 🙂

A year later, on July 23rd, they got married, and it was a beautiful day for their outdoor ceremony! Initially, they considered having it inside due to the possible heat, but the temperatures were more than ideal for a July wedding!! So blessed. <3 James and Michelle’s talented friends sang throughout the day adding a soothing romance in the atmosphere while everyone enjoyed the natural rustic ambiance of the venue. Once the reception started, it was jam packed with fun games and thoughtful speeches. They played one of the most hilarious games I have witnessed at a wedding was the “Mimic Game,” where five couples had ten seconds to mimic a dance pose from an example photo. It was comical seeing the guests get into the game and have fun with it! 🙂 I made sure to share a photo below you have to check out! 🙂 Soon after, the dance floor opened, and guests enjoyed celebrating the remainder of the night! What a great ending to a beautiful day!!
