I don’t even know how to start off this blog post because last Friday was an absolute DREAM to be a part of Zac and Emma’s wedding celebration!! <3 Everyone involved had an incredible vision for this day and it came together beautifully! The mountains definitely called my name, but King Family Vineyards will forever be one of my top favorites because of the cozy interior. After finally meeting Zac and Emma last week for their engagement session at Wintergreen Resort, I knew that this wedding would not only be aesthetically jaw-dropping, but it was going to be a fun time! Zac and Emma’s personalities are absolutely hilarious together. 🙂 They love being spontaneous and go with the flow, and I so admire them for their sense of humor! But they are also beautiful individuals inside and out, even better as a whole! <3

The dreamy day started Friday afternoon after the wedding party arrived. They were immediately stopped in their tracks when everyone saw the reception space. Holy moly was RIGHT! It was wayyyy too pretty to nonchalantly pass by and not admire! Not too long after, the men and women went into their dressing rooms to get the day started!!! After Emma’s dress was freshly ironed, she put on the flowy Leanne Marshall dress and walked out of the dressing room to see her best friends! All of the squeals and tears happened in an instant. 🙂 Emma walked outside on a beautiful February day to see her soon-t0-be-hubby! He turned around to see her all dolled up and was in complete awe! They embraced the intimate moment together by holding on to each other as if they were never going to let go. <3 We brought the wedding party out to document friend photos, which indicated it was going to be a fun time after realizing how outgoing everyone was that afternoon! 🙂

Everyone arrived and awed as they walked into the ceremony room. The fireplace was lit, and the wood burning smell filled the room creating a romantic winter ambiance! I was absolutely obsessed with the fact they hulled in real trees to frame the fireplace as another focal point! With the lit lanterns hanging from the branches, twinkle lights draped from the ceiling, and oversized candles on top of the mantle, there was no shortage of something to admire. Florals were definitely emphasized in the design of this day. Emma’s mom incorporated horseshoes in the arrangements along the aisleway and greenery spilled from the fireplace, creating a beautiful texture contrast with the trees. As soon as Zac saw Emma walk down the aisle with her mom and stepdad, he eyes filled with tears. I mentioned in yesterday’s post how much he admires her, and it was evident on their wedding day as well. 🙂 I loved the vows they exchanged, which was also a sign they had on display walking into the venue! Before we knew it, they were pronounced husband and wife, and they were off on their “married way”!!!!

Zac and Emma ran off to enjoy time with their guests during cocktail hour, which the first look was definitely in our best interest that day since they have huge hearts for their family and friends! <3 After entertaining in great conversations and food, the barn doors opened and revealed the reception room decor! Goodness, even my own jaw dropped. Amore Events and the vendor team did an incredible job designing/decorating the room! Not like the room needs much to make it beautiful, but they really made it extravagant! Every detail was thought through — Even to a canvas bread basket! Velvet pink tablecloths draped over the tables made you just want to touch everything. Haha! Candles of all sizes surrounded the beautiful floral centerpiece arrangements and was a nice balance of blush and white/neutral tones. I’m not sure how many flowers were used to decorate the room, but I can tell you it was a LOT! Each seat had a beautiful floral design menu with a matching place card. On top of the plate had a napkin with a curled velvet ribbon, which was an elegant little touch!! The majority of the room was filled with circle tables, but they had three long wooden farmhouse tables to tie in the rustic space. The head table was my favorite because of the unique elements used! Emma loves rose gold, and Zac enjoys hunting, so Emma’s mom incorporated rose gold flatware and deer antlers in the design. Loved the details, especially what hung over top of the table!! Blue Ridge Floral Design put together a stunning hanging centerpiece with lights! Greenery draped over the head table, and everyone stopped to admire the work the vendors put together that evening. 🙂 After everyone admired and found their seat, it was time to PARTY!!!

Zac and Emma shared their first dance in each other’s arms, and not long after enjoying special dances, speeches, and DELICIOUS food, the dance floor opened to guests!!! I caught myself laughing at many points throughout the night because this crowd knew how to boogie down! But what really made me laugh was seeing how much fun Emma was having on the dance floor with her flowy dress. She picked up pieces of the fabric and twirled, whipped, and threw it around! I have so many fun moments to share with them in their collection of photos, bloopers and all! 😉 Another fun and unique detail Zac and Emma did on their wedding day was eliminate the typical wedding cake and instead, have Carpe Donut bring a food truck out to serve their guests yummy donuts with ice cream, Irish hot chocolate, and coffee! So instead of a cake cutting, Zac, Emma and I walked outside to document a donut tasting! So fun and SO them!!! The bloopers are the best, but definitely saving those for them. HAHA! I couldn’t believe the time ended so quickly, but they were off on their way, running through the sparklers after an incredible and unforgettable wedding day! <3 Their celebration was one I’ll never forget!!!
