As I was driving to Bluestone Vineyard, it seemed very familiar. And, in fact, I figured out that I had once photographed an anniversary session at the venue before … a longggg time ago! The distant mountain views are beautiful, and we enjoyed a lovely April Saturday for Nathan and Alexandra’s wedding day!! Once Alexandra got into her dress, we walked down towards the view so Nathan could see his beautiful bride! They soaked in the intimate moment together, and I enjoyed documenting their love for one another around the venue. The overcast weather was a blessing at times when I wanted to photograph in a specific direction. 🙂 Yessss!!! Always a photographers’ win!
The ceremony was a very intimate celebration with their guests. They love and appreciate family/friends so much! Nathan’s uncle had the honor of marrying them, and I loved one thing he stated regarding “the art of marriage.” He said, “It’s not just about having the right partner. It’s about BEING the right partner.” AMEN!!! <3 After a few special words, he turned to them for their vow exchange. It was a very emotional and sentimental time for the two of them … And gosh, they got everyone emotional as they professed their love and intentions to one another. 🙂 After they were pronounced as husband and wife, they spent a moment with each of their guests receiving hugs and kisses! Then it was time to party!!!
Nathan and Alexandra walked into their reception with cheers from all around the room. Nathan twirled her around and then they joined guests for drinks and hors d’oeuvres. After enjoying the sunset hour with dinner and toasts by their wedding party, the party was kicked off! Mike Davis pulled out his guitar and sang songs that got everyone on their feet! It was fun seeing a solo artist get everyone on the dance floor! Alexandra heard him sing many, many times in the past and had to have him a part of their wedding celebration. I had a great time running around candidly capturing moments on and off the dance floor! At one point towards the end of the evening, Nathan and his crew grabbed the microphone and sang a song to Alexandra, which was so fun and made her night! It was a great evening celebrating the marriage between Nathan and Alexandra!!! I’ve been excited to share these photos with you all!!!
Thank you, Nathan and Alexandra, for having me a part of your special day!!! You were blessed with a beautiful day! 🙂 🙂 🙂 Enjoy looking through moments documented from my perspective. CONGRATS!!!
Congratulations!!!
