It’s December 10th and I’m feeling ahead of my usual game around this time of the year. 🙂 Client packages are shipped, Christmas shopping is DONE, and I finished reorganizing my house yesterday (even the garage) … BECAUSE … Alex will be here soon!!!! AH! I’m so excited to go down to Florida on Friday to reunite with my love! It has been too long! I’m hoping this week flies by, but then I hope time slows down. 🙂 Looking back on the 2018 year, the months flew by so fast, and thank goodness because I’m ready for this weekend!! While I’m in Florida, I hope to take in some time to reflect on the past twelve months and share some thoughts going into the 2019 year. I’m so grateful for this slower season of life! <3

SNOW?
Did everyone else know we were expecting snow yesterday? I felt as though it was very coincidental that we had snow because we had snow exactly a year ago when I photographed James and Emily’s wedding!!! What a great way to celebrate their One Year Anniversary!! Annnnndddddd … for some exciting news … James and Emily’s wedding is on the COVER of the Washingtonian Weddings Magazine!!!! Their wedding was so magical and classy. I am so incredibly honored!! I cannot wait to get my hands on the magazine soon! <3

CHRISTMAS TEA PARTY
Alex’s mother, grandmother, my mom, and I all gathered last week to enjoy a tea party at the gorgeous Belle Grove Plantation! The place is special because James Madison was born here. 🙂 So it was fun touring around the house and learning about the history, especially with the Christmas decorations!!

FRIEND TIME + CHRISTMAS PARTIES
Tis the season!!! I’m so grateful for the slower season so I’m able to come out from behind the computer and spend intentional time with family and friends! <3 Oh, and while enjoying fancy spiked eggnog!
Bethany, you are glowing!!! I love seeing how this little blessing has brought so much joy! XOXO!

THE BITTER MEMORIES FROM THIS PAST WEEK

NADA!
Looking back on this past week, I cannot think of anything bitter to share. 🙂 I know I had bitter moments, but sometimes it’s best to not keep count of it. Instead, brush off the not-so-ideal circumstances and soak in the good ones!
I hope this week starts off on a great note for you!!! XOXO!!!
