Where did this past week go?!?!!? I didn’t get quite as much business work as I wanted to get done, but I was so fortunate to spend as much quality time with my grandmother as I did while she was in town. <3 As you’ll see, the occasion was special because she wanted to be a part of the dress shopping experience! Not only did I find a dress for our big day, but my mom, grandmother, and Alex’s grandmother all found dresses! SUCCESS! 🙂 This week will be another busy one as I’ll conquer my to-do list and head back down to Florida for the next week! I’m hoping to conquer another DIY project while I’m visiting. 😉 Let’s see what happened this past week…

I SAID YES TO THE DRESS

Oh, this was SUPER fun to be on this side!!!!! I got to say YES TO THE DRESS last week and I Cannot WAIT to share it with you all … in June. 😉 It’s perfect!!!! I didn’t get to do much shopping, but Heba from the Bridal Room in McLean, VA made my experience more than I could ever imagine!!! I loved the romantic, airy environment and ALL of their dresses!!! She really tuned in with my likes/dislikes and found THE one! <3

Well, this was a fun time!!! Last week, I got to be a part of a styled shoot with the fabulous KD Custom Events  … But I was in FRONT of the camera!!! SO WEIRD! Here are a couple behind the scenes photos. 😉 It was fun hanging out with friends all day!

QUALITY TIME

My grandmother flew in from Florida last Wednesday and I’ve been making it a point to spend as much time with her, family, and friends throughout my stay in VA! 🙂 Lots of coffee… wine… sweets… I’m ready for a good work out routine! 😉 HA! 

Alex’s grandmother and I loveeee ice cream!!! <3 You better believe that will be at the wedding! ALSO, my sister makes AMAZING wedding cakes!!!! She’s going to help out the cost of the wedding by making these three flavors (YUMM!!!!) while the FABULOUS Gateau supplies us with a personal cake to cut and display at the wedding. 🙂 SO excited!!! The Cherry almond flavor is special because it was my parent’s wedding cake flavor. <3

READY FOR WARMER WEATHER … AND THE BEACH. 😉

WHEW. I know I’m not the only one ready for warmer weather!!!! To counteract the yummy wedding food we indulged over the weekend, I got my bum outside for a good run with Ollie. But when I saw 19 degrees… YIKES!! By the time I was done with a 1.5-mile run, my hands were in SO much pain that the bones felt as though they were breaking. Lesson learned… VA isn’t FL. 😉 You better believe I put on a pair of gloves yesterday and it did the trick! 🙂
