I just got back to Virginia lateeeeeee Saturday night, and I’m only here until Friday, but it has already been an eventful time!!! 🙂 This past week was a busy one between wedding planning, wood-working projects, business, traveling, and networking in both VA and FL! There’s a lot to do while I’m visiting VA for the week before I head back down to FL to spend the V-day weekend with my love, so I’m going to make the most of it! 🙂 I have a lot on my plate today, so let’s catch up with this past week over our cup of jo!

WOMEN CAN BE HANDY TOO!
GUYS!!!!! I finally bought my own miter saw with the help of discounts/gift card! I’ve been borrowing my parent’s saw for so many years, and I finally decided to bite the bullet after realizing how helpful it would be to have my own. 🙂 As you can see below, it is being used! I finished installing all trim in Alex’s room!! Wahoo! Just need to caulk and paint, and then I can start working on the sliding barn door! It’s going to look soooooo good!!!

LOTS OF TRAVELING
Naturally, being a busy body, I am on the go! Ollie and I got up at 4:15 a.m. with Alex Saturday morning, packed, and hit the road to Charleston! We arrived an hour early to scope out locations and enjoy the Charleston atmosphere before meeting with Brent and Megan for their engagement portraits. 🙂 It was SOOOO much fun!!!!!Â
After the session, we hit the road again and made it back home safe and sound at 2 a.m.! I am grateful for music and lotsssss of coffee.

COFFEE, WINE, AND FRIEND TIME.
I realized yesterday that it had been since before Alex popped the question since the last time I was at a Virginia church service! So it caught me off guard when friends asked to see the ring and hear the proposal story! HAHA! It feels like so long ago. 🙂 It has been the best two months!!!! <3 After I caught with my friend, Brittney, for coffee/lunch, I met with Krysta to attend some fun networking events!!!!
So grateful for the opportunity to hang out with friendors at the Blue Valley Vineyard and Stone Tower Winery!!!! It was SO much fun!!!!!!! Even Charla treated me with fancy eyelashes at the bridal show! Felt so weird but I’m a fan of it for the special day!!! 🙂 AH! On a side note, The 2018 Wild Boar Rose and the 2017 Estate Sauvignon Blanc at Stone Tower are AMAZING.

COOKING FAILS
Soooooo… When a recipe says to use parchment paper, USE parchment paper. 😉 HAHAHA! I’m enjoying the fathead low carb recipes, especially when I’m craving yummy Mexican food! But my fathead tortillas were a total fail when I tried making them on foil … #stucklikeglue // I’m learning!!!!
HAPPY MONDAY!!!!!!
