Oh, man. These two make pregnancy look like a BREEZE. Really, though. Jules told me that she was going to run a race just weeks after this session if the Doc 100% clears her! Talk about impressive!!! Nothing stands in her way and I admire her determination. I’m sure that is just one of many, many qualities Colin adores about his wife! <3 What I love is to envision that their son will be raised with that same attitude that if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything! Without a doubt, Colin and Jules will make incredible parents. š
You might recognize these two because they got married last year at Breaux Vineyards! And if you aren’t familiar with that wedding, maybe you might remember their Shenandoah Mountains engagement session included their adorable lab pup, Guinness ā We really wanted to include him in these family portraits, but next time!! š So fast forward to today, they are obviously expecting, and their sweet little boy this coming month!!! EEEEPP!!! When Jules reached out just hoping I was going to be in town to document their maternity portraits, the timing couldn’t have been better while I was anticipated to be in VA for the fall wedding season! š It meant SO much that they wanted me to be there to photograph this time of their lives. It’s definitely a time worth celebrating not just the anticipated debut of their baby, but also a celebration of the woman’s body. What a beautiful thing that God gave us the gift to bear a child!

I’m so excited for you both and cannot wait to see your baby in your arms very, very soon!!! I’m looking forward to you all moving down south to my neck of the wood and hang out!!! <3 CONGRATS!!!
