Coffee Talk Mondays

I’m currently typing this blog post on a VERY chilly day in Florida. Ollie is awaiting his daily morning walk, and I’m currently on hold until the heavy rain stops. In fact, we are under a “freeze warning.” Believe it or not, it can be COLD in Florida. 29-degrees in November doesn’t seem to be paradise. šŸ˜‰ As I sat with Alex this morning eating breakfast, I actually wondered if snow was possible? It must be so, and if it can happen, you better believe I’m going to get the fireplace up and running ASAP so we can enjoy some cozy evenings. šŸ™‚ Speaking of which … Anyone started decorating for Christmas?! I think this week is THE week for the Schloe household!!! šŸ™‚ I don’t typically decorate much before Thanksgiving, but with all of the upcoming travels ahead, I want to enjoy our home decorated as much as possible. Plus, as you’ll see below, Starbucks already claimed it’s Christmas season, so it has to be true … right? šŸ˜‰ Since yesterday was a Holiday and I was out of the office, today is the “Coffee Talk Mondays” catch up post from this past week. šŸ™‚

MOCHA MOMENTS
THE SWEETER MEMORIES FROM THIS PAST MONTH

1
HAPPY VETERAN’S DAY!!!

Can you all believeeeee it’s mid-November?! Alex and I were just talking the other day about how quickly this year has flown by. As you all know, this past weekend was a special recognition to those who currently serve and who have served our country. I am especially grateful to Alex (as well as a special shout out to my brother as well!!!). Ollie and I are very proud of you, hubby!!! And thanks to every Vet out there! <3 You don’t just deserve one day a year to be recognized, but every day. <3

2
CHATTANOOGA ADVENTURES!

Because it was a Holiday weekend, Alex, Ollie, and I escaped the Florida beaches to seek out mountains and changing leaves in Chattanooga, Tennessee! After driving through the city many, many times on my way to and from Virginia, I had no idea it would be one of my new favorite places!!! Between the beautiful hikes, views, and things to do around the city, we had the BEST time! I cannot wait to share our adventures with you all soon. šŸ™‚ Which, I realize I have SO many adventures to catch up and share on the blog … Including Thailand!

3
TIME TO HUSTLE!

Tis the season to HUSTLE. It’s actually one of my favorite seasons because the craziness of the fall season is within reach. šŸ™‚ I’m currently finalizing edits and delivering so I can “close shop” for the Holidays soon. I’m soooo looking forward to some time with Alex, family, and friends. <3

OLLIE ….

Oh, boy. Ollie wasn’t the most behaved pup leading up to our Chattanooga trip. In fact, the first day we were there, we questioned why we brought him. HAHA! He was leash pulling in all directions, barked in the hotel, etc. But we persevered and I’m glad we did because he ended up being the sweetest, happiest pup the remainder of the trip! After Alex gave him a much-needed bath last night, Ollie laid on top of Alex and snuggled with him for an hour. <3 Ollie still may be a grown-up pup, but we love him very much and look forward to seeing his training improve over the years ahead! šŸ™‚

HAPPY MONDAY … I mean, TUESDAY!!!
