Kevin, Laura, and I met for their engagement session exactly one year until their wedding day! What a better way to celebrate?! When I picture the fall season, I think about the mountains and the beautiful and colorful foliage. Kevin, Laura, and I started planning their engagement session months ago and while thinking about a backdrop, they also requested photos with ruins. I started brainstorming ideas and Harper’s Ferry seemed like the obvious choice!! Little did we know that we were going to be there on the most perfect fall day!! I mean, the photos speak for itself how fall showed off during their session. š And let’s not let that steal of the show of the real reason we got together!!! Kevin and Laura BEAMED with smiles as they curled up into each other’s arms for photos. š Their pups were also VERY excited to be a part of the shoot. Thanks to Laura’s family for coming along and supervising the pups, we managed to capture some adorable family portraits!! If only I could convince them to have them a part of the wedding day… š
Kevin and Laura met back in high school in Northern Virginia after living in Texas. It turns out that Laura and I have similarities like we both played the piccolo in marching band!!! š Gosh, I am not sure I can play nowadays, and it seems so long ago. Haha! But thanks to the high school band, these two met!!! š After high school and years of dating, Kevin finally decided it was time to make things official. As they cruised through the Bahamas, he found a private beach to ask for her hand in marriage. š Now they are planning a fall wedding next year at Great Marsh Estate!! I cannot wait!! š
