I enjoy this part of the day so much! The bride and groom have their details together, and now it’s time to bring the vision to life!!! It’s the first time everyone sees the entire look come together… Hair, makeup, jewelry, and the outfit — Even for the bride and groom! I can say from first-hand experience that you can envision what you’ll look like on the wedding day, but nothing beats when you step in front of the mirror all dolled up. 🙂 It’s an exciting time as nerves set in and a lot can happen before the ceremony. Hence why I want to share my favorite Virginia + Florida wedding prepping moments with you all today! 🙂
Each wedding is set up differently. Some brides want to get ready with just a family member while others want everyone. Some may want a special moment with their parents while others want a casual reveal. This is why I have a final meeting with my couples so I can educate different scenarios we can do. I love having our expectations met in advance so there are no questions asked the day of! 🙂
As I browse through the photos below, I love seeing the different details used to celebrate before the ceremony. The girls love the matching PJs, robes, wine glasses, socks, and even confetti bombs! While the men keep it simple with beer and a set of playing cards. Ha! And some even do without any of these details and still have a fun time while getting ready!! It’s important to use this time to relax, have fun, and hydrate before the festivities begin. Oh … and have one last pee break before stepping into the dress. 😉 Ha! But it’s actually after the dress is on when my heart flutters seeing the couple with their parents. <3 You’ll see why below!!!
