I hope you enjoyed a slow weekend!!! Happy Coffee Talk Monday … the quarantine life edition! This past week was quite busy in the Schloe household. Between business, enjoying the outdoors, and family time, the weeks don’t seem to slow down during this quarantine season! Is it feeling the same way for you too? I think what has helped me so much was redefining my routine and making time to go on casual long walks with Ollie throughout the day. During this time, I love to listen to podcasts or the baby birds chirping from trees, see families walking and playing together, all while I’m being active and soaking up vitamin D. 🙂 I’m trying to seek the silver lining during this season, as you’ll see below!!! ALEX’S QUARANTINE HAIR CUT!

Alex was PRETTY skeptical when I said I could cut his hair… HAHA! But I was feeling confident with my artsy skills. After watching a YouTube video, I was all set!!! If you need to cut a guy’s hair and have no idea how to do it, watch THIS VIDEO!!! So helpful! 🙂 Now Alex wants me to be his personal barber. HA! **What did I get myself into. ;)**

TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS … EVERYDAY!

I may not be busy photographing weddings or sessions, but my days are filled with projects I’m taking care of behind the scenes. 🙂 I just completed two album designs this past week and about to tackle another one this week. Along with albums, I’m working on pre-packaging all packages for 2020 and 2021 … because, why not get AHEAD before things get crazy this fall? 🙂

THE SLOWER SEASON

I was supposed to be in Virginia photographing sessions and weddings this past weekend, but instead, I found myself at home. We enjoyed our traditional Friday pizza date night (duh!!!), picked some wild blackberries as well as some growing in our backyard, did a TON of yard work, worked out together (yay, yoga!), and enjoyed an easy-going routine! It was the perfect mix of hustle and relaxation. 🙂 So grateful for family!!
