I think I need an extra cup of coffee today… It’s Tuesday and I’m just now posting a “Coffee Talk Mondays” post! HAHA! What is going on with my quarantine life?! It’s hard to keep the days straight… and it’s crazy that it’s almost MAY! The months ahead are looking soooo different than I ever imagined, but I’m doing my best to stay busy on my end. So this week, I’m focusing my attention on client packaging! 🙂 I’m looking forward to stepping away from the computer and work on crafts. It should be fun!!!
Check out what happened this past week/weekend!!! I cannot wait for this weekend at the BEACH! <3

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM!
Today is my mom’s Birthday!!!! 🙂 I hopped on Facebook and saw a time-hop from two years ago. We were together celebrating at Gateau for a yummy brunch! Mom, this year might look different, but I hope you feel just as special today as it was when we were all together! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I hope to see you VERY soon!

20-Mile Bike Ride
Alex has been wanting to bike 30A for a long time, but we finally broke out our bikes on Saturday!!! We rode 20-miles along the beautiful 30A drive, and I have to admit that my bum STILL hurts. HAHA! I might have to buy those padded shorts like Alex… So smart. We rewarded ourselves for the adventure with some DELICIOUS ice cream! I hope this is the beginning of a fun tradition. 🙂
We got to check out the water and gosh, I cannot wait for the beaches to open on Friday!!!! Doesn’t the water look incredible?!

TORNADO ACTION IN FLORIDA…
Alex will be the first to tell you that I HATE tornados. I grew up with a father who finds them fascinating and actually went on a tornado chasing trip “for fun” when he turned 40 years old! Haha! And I was the kid grabbing everything (pillow, radio, and my animals) and running to the basement when we had a tornado scare. Mind you, this was just in Northern Virginia and not the west. HA!
When I moved to Florida, I didn’t expect tornados at the beach. Unfortunately, I had a rude awakening last week when there were a few tornados spotted in our town, including water spouts! And we don’t have basements… So I REALLY hope the closet doesn’t come in handy again. Fortunately, we are okay and Alex inspected our house and there was no damage reported! 🙂 To lighten the mood after the scary experience, we had banana pancakes for dinner. 🙂
Happy Monday, everyone!!
