Someone needs to figure out how to slow down time… Although, I know that mostly everyone is counting down to 2021 and get this year over with. Haha! Between the move next summer and expecting our first baby in December, I am finding that the days, weeks, and months are FLYING! I’ve been counting down the weeks to this point because now that I’m caught up with editing, I can now focus the next two weeks on some house/baby stuff. š Although, I know that these days will escape me!!! Haha! October will be the month of traveling while November and December are reserved for finishing up business work while prepping for our baby boy to arrive! AH! So surreal. As much as I’m looking forward to meeting him, I don’t have anything prepared. Here’s to managing my time diligently over the months ahead!! š

BIKING ADVENTURES
Alex is such a kid when it comes to the outdoors. Haha! Purposefully biking through muddy puddles … While I kept thinking about my poor car that had to haul our bikes inside. But we had the best time biking 11+ miles around the reserves!! The sand can be a little tricky, but we got our work out for the day. š And it ended up being one beautiful morning without any bear sightings! š

BEACHHHH
Despite the waves picking up height from the incoming storm, I took advantage of the last sunny beach day for the week! The wind was harsh at the beach, but we managed to walk 3+ miles. š

#GOALS
Well, maybe making my own PSL wasn’t so much of a “goal,” BUT the amount of editing I took on the past two months was an achievement! Before this pandemic, I had a consistent editor helping me with every wedding and most sessions (depending on the season). However, I found myself with more time this year and a stricter budget. Next year will look a LOT different with a newborn and all of the postponed weddings. š

ANOTHER CLOSE CALL
I took this photo from my friend, Ashleigh, but it seems like we get these scary header cloud storms often… I remember growing up seeing one of these and my Dad would point out that those type of clouds can produce tornados. YIKES! I’ve had my tornado fill after the sighting back in March. Haha! But yet again, we are so glad to dodge another hurricane!
Happy Monday, everyone!!
