Robby, Meghan, and I got together at the Great Falls National Park in Virginia to photograph their engagement session last month! I love any excuse visiting a National Park, especially during Virginia’s fall season! 🙂 And ESPECIALLY with a super sweet couple, like Robby and Meghan!!! Oh, we cannot forget about their adorable pup, Daisy, too. 😉 She tried stealing the show at points during the session … She was very curious about my camera. HAHA!
I was impressed by how well Daisy got around on the rocky cliffs. Speaking of which, I was also super impressed that Robby and Meghan were down for anything! ESPECIALLY since Meghan was rocking heeled booties!!! Tell me how in the world she managed to navigate through the rocky terrain/cliffs in heeled boots! Haha! But she pulled it off while looking super cute for the photos. 😉 I loved their sense of adventure, which is why this was the perfect backdrop for their session!! Plus, we found some beautiful fall foliage that made my photographer’s heart SO happy!!!
Even though they both grew up in different states, fate brought these two together, thanks to the online world!!! I’m sure Robby admires her ability to nurture children in the healthcare industry. But since their first date, I don’t think that admiration for Meghan disappeared because I saw that humbling quality throughout their session. And she lights up with a beaming smile when his arms are wrapped around her! I can only imagine how precious their wedding day will be next summer. <3 GAH!!!

HOW ROBBY & MEGHAN MET
Robby and Meghan first met through Bumble in 2017. It wasn’t long before they went on their first date full of wine and a hunt for ice cream as an excuse to prolong the night. It went so well, Robby called for a second date, which Meghan picked up expecting a butt dial since no one actually calls for dates anymore.
HOW ROBBY PROPOSED TO MEGHAN
Fast forward a few years, after traveling around the world, moving in together, and rescuing an adorable dog and mischievous kitten, Robby decided it was time to get down on one knee. It was Christmas morning when Meghan opened a present telling her to look in her stocking. To her surprise, she found a box with a note in it telling her to turn around. Robby was in position ready to pop the question, and Meghan said yes!
