Brian & Jenn | Raspberry Plain Manor, Virginia Wedding

This was an overly anticipated day for Brian and Jenn. After postponing from the 2020 craziness, they only hoped that their wedding at Raspberry Plain Manor in Virginia would happen! Spoiler Alert … It happened. 😉 HA! Now, they FINALLY wear the title of Mr. and Mrs.!!! <3 After photographing their Washington DC engagement portraits in 2019, I was SUPER excited to document their big day! We joke that their super cold engagement session prepped them for their chilly wedding day. Ha! After they had to unfortunately postpone, I wasn’t available to document their new wedding date. I was so bummed, but my team (shout out to Lieb Photographic + Alexis Massih!!!) covered my position to give Brian and Jenn the best experience. <3 I hope you enjoy checking out Brian and Jenn’s wedding through their lens!! It was a BEAUTIFUL day!!!

A CLASSIC BLUE WEDDING AT RASPBERRY PLAIN MANOR IN VIRGINIA.

Prepping for the Ceremony.

It was a beautiful, sunny, but chilly April day in Leesburg, Virginia. The girls and guys gathered at the Landsdowne Resort down the road from the church to enjoy a relaxing morning prepping for the big day! It was FINALLY Brian and Jenn’s turn to tie the knot! 🙂

Jenn slipped on her classy Stella York dress from The Bridal Room and made everyone’s mouth drop! I might be biased, but I LOVE Jenn’s taste … My wedding dress was also a Stella York and from the Bridal Room!!! 🙂 She sported a pair of blue heels to tie in the color theme and her “something blue.” And she had some special details for Michelle from Lieb Photographic to photograph like her family Bible and a handkerchief from her grandmother. I love those sentimental details incorporated in the wedding day!! After Brian and Jenn were dressed up and ready to go, it was time to head to the church!!!

The Ceremony.

I’ve photographed at the St John the Apostle Catholic Church before, and it’s a beautiful, grand setting! No wonder Brian and Jenn dreamt to get married there by their family friend, Father Henry Reid! Brian teared up as Jenn made her big debut walking down the aisle — Moments like that get me all teary too!!! 🙂 Jenn wore the biggest smile walking towards her soon-to-be-hubby! I’m not sure if they thought that moment would ever happen after dealing with the craziness from 2020.

After a beautiful ceremony and being pronounced as HUSBAND and WIFE, they kissed and celebrated down the church aisle! Everyone met them outside with bubbles while Jenn’s uncle played the bagpipes (so cool!)! Then they were off to enjoy the celebration at Raspberry Plain Manor, Virginia!

Their Best Friends.

Brian and Jenn’s best friends gathered together outside at Raspberry Plain Manor with their beautiful florals from J. Morris Flowers. I loved that Jenn mixed up the variation of the girl’s dresses by having her MOH’s wear a floral dress! So pretty!!! The guys kept a clean, classic look by wearing a tux. And looking through the photos below, it is obvious that Brian and Jenn are loved by so many!!! <3 What a great crew to celebrate their special day!!!

Mr. & Mrs.!!!

By this point, I know Brian and Jenn were cold! But clearly, they kept their composure and rocked these portraits!!! I had no doubt they would either after photographing their engagement pictures. 🙂 I have so many favorite shots that Lieb Photographic and Alexis Massih took around the venue! But as photogenic as they are, I figured I would have so many favorites. 🙂

The Details.

Jenn wanted lots of florals and a classic design when it came to the reception space. I was excited to see that she left the creativity to J. Morris Flowers because she always knows how to knock it out of the park with her talent!!! I love the hanging greenery installment and the different centerpiece arrangements! Jenn really hired a rockstar team because she also hired my favorite vendors like Gateau Bakery! Her cakes are INCREDIBLE! I wish I could eat her desserts right now looking through the treats below. 🙂 YUM!!!

The Reception.

Everyone gathered in the ballroom for Brian and Jenn’s entrance. They were welcomed with cheers after being introduced and met under the greenery for their first dance as husband and wife. 🙂 After a delicious dinner by Gala Cuisine and speeches from their loved ones, it was time to cut the cake and break out some dance moves!! They left the challenge up to DJ Craig Wood to bring on the party … Which is never a problem for him … And not a problem for this group!!! Their family and friends gathered on the dance floor with fun moves and even a tambourine! Haha!

Needless to say, the dance floor was bumping the entire evening. 🙂 Everyone gathered around Brian and Jenn for one last dance together before saying goodbye. But before the sparkler exit, Brian and Jenn shared one final private dance together. 🙂

Thank You!!

THANK YOU, Brian and Jenn, for having myself and my team to capture your beautiful day!!! We are so honored. <3 You’re a beautiful couple inside AND out, and I’m so happy that you finally have the title of Mr. and Mrs.!! Enjoy the newlywed season!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Thanks to the vendors who made this happen!!
