Something made me think of Alex and my honeymoon to Thailand recently. Cue the photo above! It was a time we lived life on the edge… riding a scooter up a windy Thailand mountain with crazy drivers around us… or that time we ate bugs … or ran around with elephants … Gosh. So many incredible memories!!! And now the moments we experience these days aren’t quite as eventful, but still as meaningful. Every day is precious and we are soaking every bit of it in, especially as we approach the New Year! Can you BELIEVE it’s already November? Thinking that Thanksgiving is just two weeks away and Christmas is soon after is unreal! And I am thinking that we need to take out Christmas decor a little early so we can enjoy our home before the travels to Wyoming and Virginia happen. š Anyone else decorating for Christmas a little early this year?

ROUTINE
Oh man… Routine is FINALLY a word I can use these days!!! I haven’t had a routine in SO long! Pre-Jack, my life was all about it. Butttttt… having a baby switches that up just a little bit. š And that’s okay!!! I’m trying to be adaptive, but now that we finally did the sleep training thing, my schedule is more predictable these days which means that my life can have a little more order (like planning meals again). And this also means that I can put a little more personal care into myself … Like I FINALLY had a haircut since OCTOBER last year! YIKES!

WEEKEND FUN!
On Saturday, we spent the BEAUTIFUL weather with some friends in the mountains! I really expected Colorado to be in full winter mode by November, but I was wrong! The more and more I live here, the more and more I’m convinced we aren’t leaving. š We had the best time hiking Saint Mary’s Falls Trail (highly recommend) with Zach and Emily! Ollie was a little obsessed with Emily and I know that Zach just put a ring on her finger… but he has some competition. š HA!

FEELING MY AGE…
Or am I really feeling my age when I cannot remember it when people ask me how old I am?! Seriously… It’s like after 30, I don’t like to remind myself how old I am! HAHA! Lately, I’ve been waking up feeling a little stiff and sore which is more motivation for me to start stretching at LEAST! Or maybe an excuse to have a massage done? š
