Let’s first talk about this family … Before they were a family, I knew them as Frankie and Chris. We met back in 2017 when they were looking for a wedding photographer. After getting to know them over a cup of coffee and then their engagement session, I felt a genuine connection! Fast forward to their wedding day … I adored their creativity, hearts, and their love for the Greatest Showman. 😉 HAHA! Speaking of Frankie’s creativity, she opened her own Etsy shop!! Check it out HERE!! Since then, we’ve stayed connected through social media and email. I loved watching their story unfold as they grew their family. <3 Not only are their girls precious, but they have personality! In September, I got to be their photographer again and photograph their family portraits at Palmer Park in Colorado Springs! It brought me so much joy seeing them as parents to their precious girls, Everly and Evyn. I got to see Everly’s personality shine when she showed off some dance moves. I’m pretty sure she dances better than me! HAHA!
Now, let’s talk about this SUNSET! Oh my. I knew I loved the Palmer Park backdrop because you can see the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak in the distance. But I had no idea how dreamy the sunsets were until this particular evening! The way the light caught the edge of the mountain peaks was breathtaking!!! After our time ended, we hung around a little longer to chat. As our conversation continued and the sun disappeared behind the mountains, the colors in the sky and glowy light caught our attention … Needless to say, we had to take more photos!!! HAHA! They were so photogenic, and Everly was really coming out of her shell! Chris and Frankie love their children to pieces, and I love that these pictures capture a small glimpse of their unconditional love. <3 I vividly remember from their wedding day how important family was to them, and that is still the case! And now that they have a family of their own, their hearts continue to grow. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do!!!
