TWO AND A HALF MORE WEEKS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!! WOW! I cannot believe it!!! AND this week, Jack and I get to fly across the country to visit family this weekend before Alex joins us! š During our quick Virginia visit, I’ll be hosting my TENTH annual Christmas mini sessions, we will be celebrating Jack’s First Birthday, AND go to a friend’s wedding baby-free for an entire weekend! AH! So many exciting and emotional moments coming up!
BUSINESS NOTE: I’ll be taking this week (except tomorrow) and the two weeks off from blogging so I can spend quality time with family. š I’ll occasionally check my emails over the weeks ahead until the New Year, and then I hope to get into a good cadence after the Holidays!

IT’S CHRISTMAS TIME!!!!
I LOVE the Christmas season so much that I hope that Jack also grows up loving it too! š Alex surprised Jack and me with a light Christmas Parade in Colorado!!! Jack loved it, especially the firetrucks!! Although, it was a bit chilly! It appears that Colorado is starting to show it’s cold winter months now… I guess we were lucky enough to have a mild early winter so far. š

JACK’S FIRST HAIR CUT!!!
OUR BABY had his first hair cut!!!! Although, he won’t be a baby in a couple of weeks when he turns ONE! Wow! He’s all spruced up and ready for his trip back to the east coast this week!!! š

Jack hopes to grow up and be just like “Dada!” Haha! Although, Alex says “minus being a Doctor.” And I say, “minus the no-shave November mustache.” HA! I adore seeing their bond grow more and more each and every day. <3

PIXIE AND OLLIE!
I feel like I don’t post many photos of Pixie and Ollie on the blog as much as I did before having Jack. That’s true… So a quick update… Ollie LOVES Colorado wayyyyyy more than he did in Florida! The temps are just right and we get to include him on our adventures which is great for his activity! He’s also really enjoying the human food he gets, thanks to his deal with Jack… I’m pretty sure they agreed that if Jack can climb all over him whenever he wants, he’ll slip him his food. HAHA! And as for Pixie, she’s enjoying our home and actually doesn’t mind Jack too much. Although, runs away from him often, especially when he grabs her. HA! But I REALLY need to trim her nails because I took her favorite scratching post away when we moved from Florida… and for some reason she doesn’t touch the new one I bought. Soooooo needless to say, we have some furniture that is getting shredded no thanks to a kitty cat! And every time I try to sit down and clip her nails, I wimp out because I don’t want to hurt her! The struggle… HAHA!

WELL… THAT’S STINKY.
Jack is all better now, but from the day after Thanksgiving until Wednesday, we were dealing with multiple blow outs a day an even his first vomit episode. Poor guy!!! Fortunately, he didn’t have a fever and acted semi-normal minus the lack of an appetite!
Speaking of lack of appetite… Do you see what I found in my salad the other day?! Seriously, DISGUSTING. But I loved hearing my friend say that it’s a good sign when insects want to eat your greens! HAHA! True…
