When Kayla emailed me saying they were visiting Colorado Springs and wanted to hire a family photographer, I could hardly wait to reconnect with her family! Thinking back to the last time I saw the Fagan family, I remembered photographing their little girl who was by far the happiest baby I’ve ever photographed! 🙂 And that hasn’t changed! What has changed, though, is she is very independent and very adventurous! But that makes for great candid photography because I followed her along her little side adventures around rocks and new scenery. Hehe! And the bond she has with her older brother is the most precious thing! As soon as I sat them down for the first few photos, they wanted to hug each other… *Stop the baby fever!* HA!!! I can tell that they will grow up to be the best of friends!!! 🙂

Nothing like a threat of rain during a photo shoot… We got lucky this time because the raindrops came as the session was ending. PHEW. And fortunately, this threat of rain was not like the last time I photographed the Fagans. I had the privilege of meeting them back in 2017, but on the rainiest (and chilly) day (check out that session HERE!). We had no choice but to make their pictures happen just before they left from their Virginia visit. Needless to say, this threat of rain was not unfamiliar to us. 😉 HA! But both times, we made the most of the session. And both kids did so great — I know how difficult it can be to photograph active children. I adore this family and these beautiful photos!!!

Thank you, Fagan family, for having me photograph you all again, but this time in Colorado Springs!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 I hope to hang out again in the near future, whether that is in Virginia or Colorado. I love our connections in both states and hope our paths cross! And your children are adorable!!! I love seeing the photos from 2017 and now — They’ve grown so much!! <3
