Now that we are approaching the end of fall here in Colorado, no better time to share this wildflower session! The Franks had been holding a secret … Until now!! They are expecting baby number two!! 🙂 YAY!!! I was so honored to be their photographer and take some updated portraits and announcement photos at Ute Valley Park in Colorado Springs! So fun!!! I And if you think their little girl, Haisley, is adorable, she’s even more precious in person! 🙂 I was a little obsessed with her … and it might be because I secretly want to have my son, Jack, and Haisley to meet. 😉 HA!

Even though we all live in Colorado Springs, this was not my first time meeting the Franks. I photographed Gen’s brothers wedding years back and her husband officiated the wedding! 🙂 I’m so honored they wanted me to photograph these sweet portraits, especially now that Gen has her own wedding planning business (check out Aspen Roots Events here!)! I love meeting new vendor friends!! 🙂

When we arrived at Ute Valley Park, we didn’t anticipate all of the wildflowers that looked like sunflowers! Gen mentioned that it was so special to have them incorporated in these photos because it brought them back to their European honeymoon. 🙂 So perfect!
