I knew I was in for a treat after I photographed Ryan and Paige’s engagement session in Washington DC — They are not only down to earth but classy. The Clifton Inn in Charlottesville, Virginia, had an appealing factor that carried the same class Ryan and Paige embodied. Their closest family and friends gathered to celebrate them on a chilly winter day. Fortunately, the chill in the air was tolerable during their outdoor portrait time (a relief after a chilly rainstorm came through during the prepping part of the day)! Ryan & Paige’s Wedding Day
Paige and Ryan wanted to keep their wedding stress-free and easy-going. Their emphasis was on their family/friend relationships. And we cannot forget their two precious pups! 🙂 Paige brought bottle of perfume she made during her bachelorrette party in Paris, France. It was named “Le Pip” after her dog, Pip! My favorite moment from this part of the day was when Paige was getting buttoned into her dress, and Pip fell asleep on her dress! What a beautiful demonstration of the sweet bond between these two. <3
The guys enjoyed relaxing in the wine cellar. I loved that Ryan went with a velvet suit jacket for his attire — Fitting for a winter wedding (and it tied in with the girl’s dresses)!
I love that Paige and Ryan found a personalized ornament for every guest and used them as the seating assignment! Everyone loved their special ornament. 🙂
Originally, Ryan and Paige were just going to enjoy their reception mingling and not hire a DJ. But I’m so glad they changed their minds because they had a great time having intentional conversations with every guest and dancing! And their family and friends had the best time too!!
