First, I would like to acknowledge a vendor who really stepped up to the plate in time of need to make this wedding happen, Samy’s Rentals! It was Thursday night when that HUGE storm came through. I remember waking up around 2 a.m. with an alarm going off on my phone saying there was a flash flood warning. I could hear the rain pouring down SO hard and of course the following day, I saw the results as roads were closed down and bridges were flooded. Well, over at Megan’s house there was a different concern. The tent crew finished putting up the tent around 1:30 a.m. that night (crazy!) and had just left. The family went to sleep and was suddenly woken up around 3 a.m. for some reason. Megan’s father went to the window to find the huge tent jumbled together and had crashed into their pool fence. This is something you don’t want to see only just 48 hours from the wedding. Megan was completely calm and had no fear that everything would come together. And it did! By 6 a.m. there was another crew with a completely new tent ready to put back up! Talk about customer service! They had the new tent up and ready to go by early afternoon and fortunately were able to put everything together to make this a successful and GORGEOUS day!
I remember sitting down with Megan in my office not too long ago and chatting about life, her relationship and the wedding. We were there for 1-2 hours just talking! I immediately could tell that she was a genuine sweetheart! We set up their engagement session and that is when I really fell in love with this couple! Capturing their love on film was a beautiful sight to see! At this point, I was reallyyyyyy excited for their special day. Their wedding was everything and more than I expected! I love that she developed her own theme of creating this fairytale with a twist of Disney inspiration done up in a classy way. The Tiffany blue paired with the sunflowers by the amazing Designs by Teresa were a perfect spring combination that carried through the entire wedding scheme. They even had Disney music playing during dinner time! Love it! And it related so much to this relationship as well, fun and bubbly! Well, I know that Travis doesn’t want to be said he’s bubbly, but this is how they are TOGETHER! 🙂
Travis and Megan, I am SO happy for you! It was a true honor photographing your beautiful day for you and your families. Thank you for welcoming me into your home with warm hearts. Love you both! xoxo
LOOK HOW SMALL THESE ARE?!?!!? Boutonniere for the ring bearer and a tiny bouquet for the flower girl! I’ve never seen this before but it is ADORABLE!
Gorgeous sunflowers!
Loved her lace invitations. 🙂
How perfect!
Getting excited that the dress is almost together!
Love her something blue!
Her mom stood back to see her dearest daughter completely dressed up … couldn’t help for all of us to tear up!
Her dad seeing her for the first time. Absolutely speechless!
Then the girls came in and were all overwhelmed with tears. 🙂 She has some sort of power to make people tear up!!!
WHAT A STUNNING BRIDE!
A little prayer time between the bride and groom before walking down the aisle. 🙂
Love this idea of putting together the cross in the middle of the ceremony! The man represents the outer part of the cross (the protector and structure). The woman represents delicacy, which is placed inside of the cross.
Designs by Teresa did an amazing job putting this together on the arbor! Gorgeous!
Look at that mini bouquet!!!
Love capturing these little moments of the father looking over at his beautiful daughter. 🙂
They are adorable!
Putting together the cross.
Husband and wife!!!
Don’t you love these colors?!
Cute!!!
The ring bearer decided to lift up her dress train over his head. Lol!
Looking sharp!
YAY!
Cute!
Love her smile! 🙂
Here’s our little buddy again! He was definitely my assistant! 😉 Haha! Thanks Amanda for the photo!
This is so sweet! Haha!
Cute!
Gosh Megan!!!! You’re STUNNING!
Yay sunset!
Love the pops of this Tiffany blue!
Pure love!
Then the father came up to state the significance of their father daughter dance. When she was younger, he would play this song when she would go to sleep. I can only imagine being the father playing this song through his head with all of the memories of her as a little girl. 🙂
Dancing time!
YAY!
Amazing photo, Amanda!!!
Thanks again for honoring me with photographing your special day! Truly a fairytale come true!
