Scott & Caitie | Fairfax, Virginia Wedding Photographer

It was only appropriate for Scott and Caitie to get married at the sentimental place Caitie once called home. Crazy enough, her dad and stepmom were in the process of moving out of the house this week! I cannot imagine hosting a party for over 100 people and packing up at the same time! Although, I’m glad that the timing worked out so they were able to still have the wedding there before locking the doors. Speaking of timing, we are also blessed the hurricane didn’t make any moves Saturday to intrude this celebration! WHEW!

I cannot help but to look back at Scott and Caitie’s engagement session. We had the BEST time getting to know each other and I could not be more fortunate to have met them through Kimberly and Tyler! Scott makes Caitie so happy! In fact, I had family members who came up to me throughout the wedding day saying how they enjoyed seeing Scott and Caitie’s love captured in their engagement portraits. I admitted that we had way too much fun! My goal was to capture that same enthusiasm, love and joy in their wedding portraits. That was easy because they are genuinely in love with each other and it just came naturally! They make each other so happy. Their family and friends absolutely adore them together! It was especially obvious when the many toasts were given during the reception. We won’t go into details of what was said (LOL!), but they were funny enough to make Scott and Caitie blush. Once the dance floor opened, family and friends gathered to celebrate the occasion … Oh and they did not disappoint! I had the best time running around photographing little candid moments occurring around the room. Cannot wait to share all of the photos with Scott and Caitie!!
