Robbie & Cassie | Buchanan Hall, Upperville, Virginia Wedding Photographer

First of all, I am SO sorry this was not posted up yesterday! I was out of the house with meetings and errands from morning until dark and did not think it would be fair to post this up super late. So without further or due, here is Robbie and Cassie’s beautiful wedding!!!!

As we all know how time flies … it REALLY feels like time has flown as Robbie and Cassie’s wedding arrived! I remember having our initial meeting last summer when I first opened my business and then moving forward into their engagement session. Between then and last weekend, it felt like a snap of a finger … and I’m sure they felt the same way! As a bride, you plan for MONTHS anxiously waiting for the one big day to arrive! It is exciting, but also overwhelming as SO much goes into the details/vendors/guests/etc. When we had our final meeting finalizing timeline and such, I was surprised to see how calm they were. Of course, there are different types of brides … but after hearing how much work was going into their wedding day, I wanted to have a heart attack! Not really … but really! Haha! I give them SO much credit (especially to the family and friends who helped) for putting together a GORGEOUS wedding! My goodness, I was so pleased to see the amount of detail they put into decorating! 🙂

When I arrived at Fireside Church to photograph the prepping part of the day, I could hear Cassie’s contagious laugh … I knew it was going to be a bright and happy day! 🙂 And that intuition was right! It was a bright and happy day as smiles carried on from the prepping to the ceremony to the reception … even with it being rainy and gloomy outside! This is definitely appreciated from a wedding photographer’s standpoint for sure! 🙂

Each mother spoke during the dove release … and what a cool event this was right after the ceremony!!!

Until the doves almost took me out … Cassie was very concerned when I had to start ducking down and the doves were flying over my head! Lol!

Cassie made each of her bridesmaids hair pieces … so talented! 🙂
