Nope… It’s not another Coffee Talk Monday post! Instead, I have a tasty treat for you all today!!! I’m sharing one of Alex and my FAVORITE Virginia vendors from our wedding day โ Brick Wall Coffee Bar! ๐ If you haven’t heard of them or a mobile specialty coffee bar, then you’re going to LOVE hearing what Ashley, the CEO, is doing all over the state!
About Brick Wall Coffee Bar
Brick Wall Coffee Bar brings the “coffee house experience to you!” They specialize in weddings and private events serving the Charlottesville, Lynchburg, Radford, and the Blacksburg area, while occasionally working in Northern Virginia. Ashley and her team use organic, fair trade, local coffee beans, and plant-based products because they believe in being eco-friendly.
Before the wedding day, Ashley personalizes a menu based on the bride and groom’s favorite drinks. For Alex and me, we had chai tea lattes, vanilla lattes, strawberry peach Italian soda, and the classic, Americanos. But they can be as creative as you can imagine!!! Ashley served sprinkled donut cappuccino, chocolate chip pancake latte, cinnamon roll latte, blueberry muffin Italian soda, and strawberries n’ cream Italian soda for a “breakfast for dinner” wedding!! Doesn’t that sound AMAZING and so fun?!
How We Connected
I was inspired by Ryan and Paige’s wedding years back when they had a barista making yummy lattes for their reception. Do you know where I was found? HA! ๐ When Alex and I started planning our wedding, I thought a coffee bar with specialty drinks would add a unique experience to our family and friends. Considering that Alex and I had our first date at a coffee shop, it was VERY appropriate to tie this idea into our special day! After all, it all started with a cup of coffee. <3
I only knew of one mobile barista company during the time of planning, so I thought, why not reach out to local coffee shops to see if this was possible. I didn’t have much luck… until just a month or two before the wedding, I received a phone call! It turned out that my random phone call inspired Ashley to start up a mobile coffee bar in Virginia! The best part was that Ashley and I went to high school together! It was a done deal in my book!!! ๐ I was excited about this idea and her team’s enthusiasm while supporting a new business!
Our Wedding Day Experience with Brick Wall Coffee
Brick Wall Coffee Bar was a hit at our wedding!!! Alex and I were so grateful to have them there. <3 They even sported myย Air Force Wife mugย and the banner my mom and I made, “I love you more than my morning coffee.” The white mobile bar set up blended with the environment beautifully!!! Most importantly, the enthusiasm they shared with us as well as our guests and our vendor dream team didn’t go unnoticed.ย Also, the coffees were AMAZING โ Hands down the best Chai Tea Latte I have ever had!
They were such a big part of our celebration, and Alex and I cannot rave about them ENOUGH! Even to this day, we still talk about Brick Wall Coffee Bar and love seeing our personalized menu by our coffee station at home! ๐ If you love coffee and want to create a unique experience for your party/event, you HAVE to reach out to Ashley!!!! It was hands down one of our favorite memories from our wedding day that left all of our family and friends raving!
