I found myself on 30A twice in one week after photographing Jenny’s sweet family in Alys Beach. This time, I met with Jamie and her family in Grayton Beach! It was their last full day on vacation, so to end the trip, they wanted to document their time here on the Emerald Coast. So Jamie wanted to hire a Grayton Beach, Florida photographer and document her family!
We only had one obstacle… Beach storms are a hit or miss. In our case, we had to really watch the weather. Because it was their last day in Grayton Beach, we had to improvise. I trusted my gut and we met two hours prior early to avoid being rained out. We had to battle the bright sun, but I favored that over being completely rained out. š Let’s face it… That’s not fun for anyone’s hair! haha! Fortunately for us, meeting early paid off because as we were wrapping up the session, dark clouds and thunder rolled in. If anything, the sunshine just added vibrancy to the fun color pallet with their outfits!!! š
I found it hilarious that before their trip, Jamie casually told the “kids” (and two beautiful young adults!) that they were going to take photos on the beach. So they casually threw some clothes in their bags not anticipating anything more than cell phone pics. But they didn’t know she hired a professional photographer to take their photos! Haha! Looking through these photos, I love how colorful, vibrant, and fun these are! It reminds me of Dylan and Theresa’s colorful wedding from last year (pinks/oranges/white)… right?!
