I hope everyone had a fun and safe Labor Day weekend!!! I’m at it again with a Coffee Talk “Monday” post … Except, it’s Tuesday! š Alex had some time off which was SO nice from the crazy, long shifts he worked. š Even though we didn’t go anywhere, it was a nice staycation!!! And gosh, here in Florida is HOT! I’m trying to get into the fall spirit with my candles, decor, and PSL, but as soon as I walk outside, I’m reminded that it’s 100-degrees. HA! But can you believe it’s already September? Despite the pandemic dragging on month after month, it feels like this year is somehow flying by? Makes me wonder what the New Year will look like! I can only imagine how much celebrating will happen that 2020 is over. š

PONCE DE LEON ADVENTURES
When it feels like 109-degrees outside, we know of a way to cool off here in Florida… the springs!!! Alex and I have been to Morrison Springs, but we wanted to check out another local spring called, Ponce de Leon. Also known as the “Fountain of Youth!” You’ll have to check out Schloe Travels blog post on Thursday for Alex’s full rundown of our time at the spring. š It was cool … LITERALLY!

IT’S FALL… KIND OF. š
Even though the fall season doesn’t technically start until September 22nd, it’s close enough to celebrate! Plus, I don’t know about you, but fall and the Christmas season are the most joyful seasons of the year!! š So anything to make 2020 a little more joyful is a great excuse to start early. And even though it’s hot outside, I’m splurging on hot chocolate already! It’s 2020 and I think we can make up our own rules this year. š

The majority of my days look like this… in front of the computer. But it’s SO rewarding to send out final galleries to couples and families!!! And gosh, I’ve been cranking out deliveries like no one’s business. š Just one more wedding to finalize and a session until my plate is completely cleared … For now. š

The reality is that this beautiful lifestyle won’t be ours forever. š SO SAD!!! We are taking advantage of the time we have left as much as we can with friends and local adventures. Loving this season!!!

Do I even need to say more? I think these two are enjoying “the life” here in Florida… HAHA! But they have noooo idea what is to come in December. š Their current reality is going to be shattered when another roommate moves in!

FLORIDA HEAT
Now that it’s September, I’m ready to pull out some of my warmer clothing. However, Florida has plans to stay in the high 80s … and with the humidity, that takes the “feels like” temperature above 100-degrees. Brutal! I’m looking forward to the more mild days where I can still enjoy the beach. š
