Jason & Kate | Fall Farm Warrenton, Virginia Engagement Session

Bare with me for a few more days as my internet will be back in the swing of things very soon! 🙂 Cannot wait to be able to not have to run out to Starbucks, Panera or the library in order to get online to do business work. Not being able to get through my emails yesterday made me feel a little uneasy so today is internet catch up as I am here at Starbucks with my first peppermint mocha of the season! Wohoo! Time to get into the Christmas spirit!!! 🙂

Miss Kate … VERY soon to be Mrs. Kate … I go back years with this lovely and beautiful girl! One of my best friends connected me to Kate and I am so honored to have gotten to know her through the years and to have seen her find the ONE! This was actually my first time meeting Jason, but my friends and I were all there when she first started talking and RAVING about him! After the session was done and I went on home, I totally understood why she was raving because seriously they are PERFECT for each other! I know that Kate was nervous coming into the session … but seriously, their love for one another is SO obvious that it was almost easy to capture their pure happiness! Better yet, they are only DAYS away from tying the knot! Yay! SO incredibly happy for these two!

Thank you both for allowing me to photograph this wonderful and HAPPY time of your life! I am thrilled that you both have found each other … as everything happens for a reason, right?! 🙂 I had a blast with you both and I cannot wait to see where your journey of life takes you both! Love you! xoxo

Jason & Kate’s Love Story
I was getting ready for my fifth year at JMU finishing up my degree and my girlfriends and I rented a big house downtown for the year. We had one bedroom left to fill and they suggested that one of their guy friends, who was transferring to JMU, move into the room. They assured me that they had known him since elementary school and he was a nice guy, so I was fine with it. When we met on move-in day, there was an immediate attraction. We got to know each other pretty quick living in the same house, and with our roommates’ blessings, we started dating. We have been inseparable since then 🙂 Being roommates and dating is certainly not traditional, but it was a great way to get to know each other. We go back to visit that house where we fell in love on our anniversary every year!
