The day started with Billy and Courtney’s church arriving at 7 a.m. in the beautiful Marshall area to decorate/prep food for their special day. Courtney’s mom told me that without the church community, they would not have been able to do this. It was obvious how much of a blessing the church was to their family! I remember walking into the ceremony space just awing over what they had done to the space! Billy and Courtney envisioned a vintage-inspired, garden, lawn party. They pulled it off and I cannot say enough how much the theme is “so them”!
When photographing in Courtney’s house when she was prepping for the ceremony, you can see how much she loves the vintage, antique style in every detail. After a very joyful and anticipated ceremony, Billy, Courtney and their family celebrated the occasion with an abundance of food and amazing looking cakes! The day seemed like it flew by faster than I can recall but before we knew it, it was time to head out. They provided bird seed for everyone to throw at them as they departed … They weren’t expected to get DUMPED on. No joke, they were COVERED in bird seed from head to toe. You cannot miss that shot at the end! 😉 Hahah! So epic! What really brought the theme together was the antique getaway vintage car! It was the perfect touch for their portraits! Plus, a banner attached to the car is always a cute detail for those departure shots. God truly blessed them on Friday by holding off the rain and I look forward to seeing God bless them over the years to come!
