After photographing Corbin and Sara’s engagement session in Washington DC last year, I couldn’t wait for this day to come! I knew they were going to host a classy, fun wedding — But there is a lot of eye candy to look through below!!! 🙂 They gathered family and friends from all over to come to celebrate their wedding day on a perfect October day at Keswick Vineyards, Virginia. After just missing the hurricane, we counted our blessings for their outdoor event (as you would imagine). 🙂
Sara & Corbin’s Wedding Day
I love arriving at a venue and seeing everyone enjoying their pampering time/chilling out playing cornhole! Sara had her beautiful details laid out — Check out her beautiful dusty blue heels! Probably my new favorite wedding heel. And speaking of which, Corbin was also stylish in his Christian Louboutin shoes! As you would imagine, these two have great styles. 🙂 After Sara got into her dress, her father came into the room amazed. With tears in her eyes, they had a little moment together before she walked out to see Corbin before the ceremony.
Corbin and Sara decided to have a first look before the ceremony, and I’m glad they did!! They had a wedding party size of 20+ best friends, so with a large group, we were able to run around and take fun photos without feeling rushed. 🙂 They are some of my favorite wedding party photos — It was a fun bunch (I might be biased too because I adore the MOH/BM *hey, Josh and Lindsey!!)!
Everyone gathered by the vines to see Corbin and Sara tied the knot — It was beautiful!! I loved that one of their best friends officiated the wedding and tied in so many personal/funny/sentimental stories. One little detail many didn’t see… Corbin and Sara carried little photos of Corbin’s father and their pup, Ace (their ring bearer in Heaven), on the bouquet as well as Corbin’s pocket. <3 I love that their loved ones were able to attend this very special day for them.
And… After many, many years waiting for this day, they were finally pronounced husband and wife!!!
Guests enjoyed the cocktail hour during the golden hour light. We took full advantage of the time photographing some more portraits before they ran off to enjoy drinks/hors d’oeuvre with everyone. These two don’t take a bad photo as you’ll see below!!! 🙂
They welcomed guests to take a seat for dinner — Everyone admired the beautiful setup! I’m a big fan of the dusty blue colors, especially with the gold accents and personal touches (like the customized names on the menus)! One detail Corbin was excited about were the customized golf balls (as Sara said, “golfing is Corbin’s life!”)!
During the reception, they had SO many great speeches! I was laughing so much behind my camera!! 🙂 After a delicious dinner and special dances with Corbin’s mother and Sara’s father, DJ Will Gralley kicked off the dance party! Will knew Corbin and Sara back from the Radford days — With all of their Radford friends there, I knew it was going to be a fun time capturing the party! And it was!!! Soon the party came to an end and they gathered everyone outside for a sparkler send-off. It was a perfect day celebrating these two!!!!
