I met Brian and Jenn years back on one of the coldest December days for their engagement portraits in Washington D.C… Read their engagement blog post, and you’ll see how adorable these two are together! <3 When we were figuring out the ideal backdrop for their engagement photos, they also mentioned Old Town Alexandria but went for the city/memorial vibe! Flash forward to this year when they announced they were expecting a baby girl in early 2023 (YAY!!!)! They emailed me wanting maternity portraits in Old Town Alexandria. After all, their love story started when they met at O’Connell’s Irish Pub for their first date. Naturally, we met there to kick off their session!
I loved visiting Old Town Alexandria during the Christmas season! Buildings decorated with greenery, red bows, and twinkly lights. Brian and Jenn were all about the look too! It was a pretty wet day considering rain clouds were moving in and out. But we managed to squeeze in their portraits before the next wave of rain came through! Jenn’s dress was perfect for the season colors (and the sleeves were so cute!). Fortunately, it wasn’t quite as cold as their December engagement portraits! Regardless, I had them stay cozy with all of the snuggly photos! Enjoy some of my favorites from our time together!!!
